The New 5.3L V8 F350C
Yamaha’s new, purpose-built 5.3-liter 350-horsepower V8 outboard delivers reliability and confidence when
you’re taking control of the open water. The F350C is designed to withstand the harshest demands and backed by
an unprecedented, industry-leading five-year limited warranty, it’s truly unmatched in its horsepower class for
thrust and trust.
Big power & more torques
The 5.3-liter V8 configuration is designed to easily produce 350 prop shaft horsepower, with less stress and strain on
internal engine components than small displacement, high-output outboards. Four oversized valves per cylinder increase
breathing efficiency and contribute significantly to the F350C’s power and torque.
Optimum Performance
Seven different sensors constantly measure vital atmospheric conditions and engine functions to give the Engine
Control Module (ECM) the information needed to precisely and instantly adjust the fuel/air mixture for optimum
performance and economy.
Efficient Exhaust
Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection works in concert with long tube intake tracks and Yamaha’s
exclusive Dual In-Bank™ Exhaust System for maximum efficiency and compact design. Dual In-Bank™ Exhaust
means it exits through the center of the engine between the “V” of the cylinders, rather than on the
exterior sides, to allow for a more compact shape. The dual exhaust helps the F350C more easily purge the exhaust for
greater combustion efficiency and power.
V6 V MAX SHO®
Mechanical: 250hp, 225hp, 200hp
The V6 V MAX SHO® has transformed the game with its 4.2-liter big bore displacement, signature
four-stroke fuel economy. With a 25-inch shaft option for the V MAX SHO 250. That makes it an even better choice for
anglers fishing bigger waters on 25-inch-transom boats such as deep-V hulls, bay boats, flats boats and multi-species
craft.
Compact & powerful powerhead
Plasma-fused sleeveless cylinders are lighter and 60 percent harder than steel. They also allow us to enlarge cylinder
bores without increasing their dimensions–which creates 4.2 liters of big-bore displacement, without adding
weight. With a re-engineered cowling, engine bracket and lower engine pan, 20-inch-shaft models are a full 34 pounds
lighter than their predecessor, the two-stroke V MAX® Series 2.
Smart design
Yamaha’s exclusive In-Bank Exhaust System exits downward through the center of the “V” rather than
on the exterior side. This increases combustion efficiency, creating more power and torque, and also results in a more
compact shape. This superior design–with individual intake and exhaust camshafts, larger valves than previous
designs and four valves per cylinder–delivers more precise valve timing and more efficient exchange of intake
and exhause gases, for responsive power and increased fuel economy.
Reliability and durability
A labyrinth exhaust routes gases through a maze before they exit above the water line through an idle exhaust relief
outlet. This, combined with a mufflerless design, results in unbelievably smooth and quiet operation, with a pleasing
sound of power at idle. Midrange punch and instant throttle response created by Variable Camshaft Timing has to be
felt to be believed.
Outstanding fuel economy
Micro-textured cylinder walls increase breathing efficiency while Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection ensures the
precise amount of air and fuel necessary for optimum power and fuel efficiency.
I-4 Four Strokes
Digital: 200hp, 175hp, 150hp
Mechanical: 200hp, 175hp, 150hp
There’s a good reason why the legendary Yamaha F150 is the best-selling 150-horsepower four stroke of all time.
Now the family line continues with the F175 and F200. More boaters can enjoy Yamaha’s technologically advanced
I-4 line than ever before. Whether your rigging is digital or mechanical, the entire lineup is compatible with your
control preference.
Impressive power to weight
A proven 16-valve DOHC In-Line design, with four valves per cylinder maximizes efficiency and power. It also
streamlines design, giving the F200 class-leading power-to-weight and making the F175 nearly 30 pounds lighter than
its closest 1.7-liter competitor.
Optimum power
Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection and long-track intake system combine to maximize power and fuel
efficiency across the line of In-Line Fours (except F150 Mechanical).
Quick acceleration & powerful hole shot
A 10mm Offset Crankshaft allows for larger intake volume design. Four tuned intake tubes boost torque in low and
mid-speed ranges for quick acceleration. The Composite Intake Manifold is a lightweight, compact design, making these
engines very versatile. Long Tube Intake Tracks are tuned to increase airflow, boosting low-end and midrange torque.
This means a more powerful hole shot and increased acceleration with an air silencer box and surge tank that reduces
air intake noise and air turbulence for smoother operation.
Low and mid-range torque
Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) advances or slows the camshaft timing based on engine load and RPM, improving intake
and exhaust efficiency and boosting torque in the 2,000 to 3,500 RPM range
Reliability and durability
Corrosion resistance. Combined with our proprietary alloy (YDC-30), our exclusive Phaze Five™ electro-deposited,
anti-corrosive paint system provides a tough, five-layer barrier against corrosion. This protection is standard on all
Yamaha In-Line Four-Stroke engines.
High Thrust Four Strokes
Mechanical or Tiller: 60hp, 50hp, 9.9hp
Mechanical: 25 hp
Yamaha’s High Thrust four strokes, are built for jobs that call for more muscle—like pushing a heavy
pontoon, adding extra kick to a multi-species boat or maneuvering a sailboat through a crowded marina. Available in
60, 50, 25 and 9.9 horsepower, their larger lower units and higher gear ratios produce substantially more thrust than
conventional outboards of the same horsepower using standard propellers. In fact, when paired with our Dual
Thrust™propellers, (optional on T60/T50 and standard on our T25 and T9.9) Yamaha High Thrusts produce
up to 60 percent more forward thrust and up to 70 percent more thrust in reverse. The Higher Gear Ratio on
Yamaha’s High Thrust outboards make these powerhouses ideal for heavy pontoons and other applications that
require an extra measure of muscle.
Optional Command Link
Gauges provide real-time outboard performance, boat systems and environmental data at your fingertips. Streamlines
displays available in square or round style for single- or multi-engine applications. Yamaha’s award-winning,
Multi-Function Tiller Handle (optional on T60/T50) features an ergonomic design for easy shifting , better grip and
less rotation from idle to wide-open throttle. This reduces operator fatigue for a full day of enjoyable boating.
Truly multi-function, it control features include throttle, throttle friction control, shift lever, key switch, stop
switch and a Power Trim & Tilt switch.
Optimum performance
Microcomputer Ignition adjusts timing to maintain optimum engine performance, economy and power under all conditions.
A Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) design creates a compact, lightweight, space-saving design.
Fuel economy
Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection on the T60 and T50 delivers the exact amount of fuel needed for
optimum performance and efficiency. Yamaha’s EFI optimizes fuel atomization, further enhancing fuel economy.
