Marine Blue Waterfront Specialists is introducing a new lift service program. It is a maintenance program to keep your boat lifts(s) in good and worry free condition. The most common problems we have seen over the years are with the clutches, cables and pulleys. This service program is designed to eliminate these problems before they occur.
Clutches are something that should be looked at on a regular basis to ensure they are working properly and safely. We have seen many clutches that were not in safe working condition and the owner did not realize it. Cables and pulleys are something that need to be looked at to try to eliminate a mid summer breakdown.
We will service your lift(s) sometime between fall and spring. For a first year enrollee, we will require the lift(s) to be brought up to a reasonable standard to be covered by the agreement. For yearly enrollees, you will get your lift(s) serviced every year and never have a further labor charge for covered services.

Boat Lift Service Agreement
Marine Blue agrees to service customer's ShoreStation lift(s) for the sum of $40.00 for the first lift at a residence and $30.00 for each additional lift at the same residence. Service will occur sometime between lift coming out of water in the fall and before it goes in the water in the spring.
Service includes labor for the following:
1) Removal of winch wheel, dismantling of clutch, inspection, cleaning, lubricating, installation of new clutch parts, if needed, and re-assembly.
2) Inspection of winch and lubrication of chain(s).
3) Inspection of visible cables and pulleys.
4) Inspection of general liftt condition.
5) For the following summer, all labor for repairs due to mechanical wear, if hoist is judged to be in good mechanical condition at the time of service (annual subscribers, no labor charge for covered repairs).
NOT included:
1) Costs for all parts.
2) Non-mechanical wear repairs: examples; wind or ice damage, improper use, improper installation or removal, rotten or rusted wood or metal, etc.
3) Electric motors and vinyl canopies. |
